I was also asked once to be a "face model" by a friend, but she knew that I knew that it was just going to be a bunch of product pitches. I went to a "Mary Kay party" a few months back, and silly, naive me didn't realize that at its conclusion, it was assumed that I would spend a massive wad of cash on their products - which more or less suck.
